OK. So a few days I posted this picture on IG & I thought I would share some info on these products with all of you.
These powders are great for setting and also for highlighting. I love using all 3 of these powders as well as mixing them together to blend and create perfect shades.
The powders that I personally own from the Ben Nye Line are:
*CAMEO | Luxury Powder
*BANANA | Luxury Powder
Both of these work great on fairly all skin tones and types. They are both great for setting, highlighting, and correcting (ex. if you put on too much blush and need to tone it down). Will not cake your face and the powder itself feels “luxurious” and lightweight on your skin. I would recommend to blend the powder onto your concealer/foundation with a beauty sponge (tip: I use the same damp beauty sponge that I use to blend my foundation/concealer with .. then I use it to set my foundation with whatever dampness is left because it sets the powder better. *do not re-wet the sponge…)
*PRETTY PINK | Professional Face Powder
It works best on fair to light skin tones because it neutralizes the peach & yellow under eye concealers. Works great in setting under eyes and highlight areas. This is a translucent powder which will not give you an obvious “pink” finish. It blends beautifully with a beauty sponge.
I can say that these powders do set liquid foundation very well and makes the foundation last longer without shine. I would however recommend researching which shade would work for your personal complexion. I love the cameo shade because I am fairly light… but in the summer because I do tend to tan, I will mix some of the banana powder with my cameo powder which works well with me. I like to mix the pretty pink with the cameo in the winter when I am fairly light and my complexion is less likely to work with yellow tones.
To set under the eyes is what I usually use this product for as well as to set the highlighted areas when I contour. It works better than a lot of powders I have purchased in the past and is fairly inexpensive.
