Vaseline (petroleum jelly) honestly is one of my MUST have beauty products and I use it everyday.I swear by this product and is a must have in anyone’s life. Seriously.
Beauty
– Lip Primer : Prep your lips before applying your makeup so they could be “ready” by the time you are ready to apply that lipstick. This is the best advice ever. Matte lipsticks will never dry out your lips again (especially those dark colors!)
– Manicure: Apply Vaseline to your cuticles to avoid color on the skin around your nails.
– Customize your beauty products: Mix pigments with Vaseline to create custom tinted lip balms
– Lashes: use as a conditioner for your lashes (some people swear it promotes lash growth and thickness)
– Achieve perfect self tan- Condition dry spots with Vaseline prior to applying self tanner to prevent blotches or streaks
– Gentle Makeup Remover : use with a cotton swab to fix any mistakes while trying to achieve the perfect wing
-Beauty DIY : Make y our own Lip Scrub with some sugar, or Body Scrub with some sea salt !
-Blend some vaseline with a lipstick(s) to create your perfect blush shade.
– Use to calm down some fly-aways on your up do and conceal split ends.
Personal Care
-Soothing Dry Feet: Rub some vaseline on your feet at night and then put on some socks. Voila! Softer feet in the AM!
– Soothing a burn / Cut
– Cold sores: Helps get rid of those pesky cold sores without leaving a scar
-Crusty Lips: No chap stick needed… This gets rid of that problem 2X as fast.
– Dry Skin : Use as a lotion to relieve dry skin.
Fashion
-Remove makeup stains on clothing
– Using as a polish for scuffed leather shoes, handbags, etc.
and most importantly it is inexpensive and can be found at any drugstore.
