Lashes 101
HELLO EVERYONE,
– When cutomizing lashes, the pro tip is to use two different styles that compliment each other to create the desired look. Avoid using 2 of the same style because this will just make a “heavier” version of it and will not change the style of it.
-Measure your lashes ALWAYS on your or you’re clients eye before adding glue. All of our eyes are different ! Lash strips aren’t meant to be all the way to our tear ducts!
– Apply lash glue with a tweeter or an applicator to avoid getting it on the lashes itself. Do not apply the lash glue right away… fan it out for about 20-30 seconds (once the glue is tacky.. it is ready to apply.) I usually apply it on the back of my hand and then use the back end of a tweezer to apply the glue on the lash. Also, applying the eyelash with wet glue on your eyelid will make it impossible for the inner or outer side to stick. Waiting is always key.
-Take care of your lashes. I try to avoid adding mascara to my lashes unless it is a night time look and I want the extra drama. I like to re-use my lashes so I avoid putting mascara on them to preserve them. Lashes can be pricey , so handle them with care.
Hope this helps.
