Hey Loves,
Happy Sunday!
I just wanted to share with all of you my tips and tricks for my favorite loose curls which are fairly easy to do.
I used a 1″ Inch Hot tools (gold) barrel to create these which I purchased at Ulta.
I naturally have curly fine hair that can be frizzy in a heartbeat.
I also have a lot of volume due to my natural curls in which I apply a leave in conditioner after I shower mixed with a small (dime size) amount of serum. (I use Moroccan Oil)
Steps:
1 | Blow dry recently washed hair with a round brush to add volume to the hair ..(I usually just use the brush on my front pieces and on my crown.)
2| Once completely dry.. Section of the hair starting from the bottom up.
3| Grab the curling iron and WRAP small portions of your hair around the barrel.
THIS IS THE KEY TO THESE WAVES IN WHICH HELPS YOU AVOID THOSE HORRIBLE SHIRLEY TEMPLE LIKE CURLS
4| Leave hair on the barrel for a couple SECONDS. (thin hair should always be removed faster)
5| Set curled hair down and grab another piece… and repeat.
(hair spray is optional.. I usually skip it since m hair is pretty easy to work with and maintains curls.
I do however recommend a light hold hairspray *which should be sprayed a few inches away from hair* to avoid the hairspray weighing your curls down)
plus .. playful curls that you can run your fingers in is always funner.
Thank you for reading.
Always with love,
♥Stephanie
