Happy [H]umpday!
Just got back from my mini day trip to SD that I took with my sister-in-law. It was nice to be back in SoCal & visit some familiar places. Everything was smooth sailing from the beginning to the end which made the trip that much more enjoyable. (We didn’t miss our flight & everything went according to schedule.. Thank God!!)

wanna get away?
We took a morning flight to San Diego. We did lunch there & were back in time for dinner. It’s crazy how much you can get done in a day when you step outside of your routine.
Lunch Date in Old Town.
My brother first brought me here when I went to visit him in SD while he was serving in the military. I swear it has become almost a tradition to stop by every time I come to San Diego. I prefer visiting it at night when the town comes alive. It has a nice old mexico feel and the shops have some of the cutest items you’ll want to buy. This is definitely a stop to make when visiting SD.
Overall this spur of the moment trip turned out to be .. a nice way to get me out of my everyday routine. Where will we go next? Only time will tell. Until next time 😉
